AhlulBayt News Agency: The Al-Quds Brigades, the armed wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement, announced on Tuesday that it had launched an artillery and mortar attack targeting Israeli occupation forces north of Khan Yunis in southern Gaza.
According to the statement, the attack focused on Israeli troops stationed near Al-Muhandis Hall and Al-Badaw Street in the Western Satar area. Fighters reported that the shells landed among the soldiers, prompting the deployment of military vehicles and helicopter support to evacuate the dead and wounded.
In a separate statement, the Al-Qassam Brigades confirmed that its fighters had successfully ambushed Israeli forces in Khan Yunis, inflicting casualties.
The Al-Qassam Brigades said they struck a group of Israeli soldiers inside a house using a Yasin 105 rocket and an RPG, then continued the assault with machine gun fire in the old licensing area south of Khan Yunis.
